Bright Early Years Learning Centre
Successful State and Federal government funding of $2.7M has been secured for the development of the Bright Early Years Learning Centre (BEYLC). It is part of economic stimulus funding providing a unique opportunity to deliver a long anticipated early years centre in Bright. The centre will bring together the Bright and District Kindergarten, Lyndhurst Children's Centre, Maternal and Child Health, Bright Play Group, Bright Toy Library, and other services in an integrated facility.
The final site for the development has been identified on Bright P-12 College land. The site is up the hill, south of the original Deacon Avenue corner location. Finalization of architectural plans are being prepared now and once done the project will go out to tender.
